Employees Must Wash Hands… Before Murder Auditions

Rehearsal Schedule:

HERE is the Rehearsal Schedule (various details are still TBD).  A general rule of thumb for Biz productions is to rehearse Friday evenings, Saturday afternoons, and Sunday afternoons. Leads or other small groups will be called on Mondays & Thursdays during the week if necessary. During tech week (the week before the show opens), your child will have mandatory rehearsal every evening from 5:30-9:00 PM.  If this time does not work for your child, please do not have them audition.  Final dress rehearsal (the night before the show opens) may go later. Please put all conflicts on the back of your AUDITION FORM.  Final rehearsal schedule will be available within the week after casting the show.

Preparation:

Prepare a 1 minute monologue that shows off your acting skills! Complete these two forms (Audition Form & Attendance Policy) prior to arriving for your audition.  It is preferred for the Audition Form to be filled out on a computer so that all fields are completed and legible.  The form works best when opened and completed in Adobe Acrobat (not a web browser).

Arrive on the day of your audition at least 10 MINUTES early to sign-in at The Biz office and be sure to bring YOUR COMPLETED AUDITION FORM & ATTENDANCE POLICY, AND ALL MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY CONFLICTS (including holidays) from March 22-May 5, WRITTEN ON THE BACK OF THE AUDITION FORM. Please include any vacations! We require ALL cast members to be available for every night of tech rehearsals and ALL shows. (Conflicts added after casting may result in being asked to step down from the show.) We will also have everyone read some sides from the script, so be prepared for this.

Synopsis:

Something is rotten at the Burgatorium, a low-end fast food restaurant…and it’s not just the burgers. Hit with a surprise health inspection, employees hilariously rush around to clean up their messes, hide the rats and find real meat for the burgers. But luck is not on their side when their manager turns up dead in a freezer. This super-sized murder mystery comes with a side of funny and a healthy dose of ridiculous as the health inspector and his gangsta intern investigate a lineup of crazy characters that includes a singing tapeworm.
